The Truth About Drinking Alkaline Water Versus Drinking Plain Filtered Water
Most people in the United States don't drink the recommended levels of water we need per day, but for those that do focus on keeping their body hydrated, the debate on whether drinking a higher concentrate of alkaline water continues. Today we see water bottle brands continue to flood the market with "pH balanced" water. The question to keep in mind, does this higher alkaline pH balance really help the body?
In this YouTube video search: top water filtration systems, Dr. Oz and Dr. Jennifer Caudle, DO help explain the claims and myths to the popular topic. Although the conclusion of this video shows that today's test labs are not able to substantiate the claim of drinking higher levels of alkaline water, but...the studies do not prove otherwise either. The fact is doctors and scientists don't specifically test for these results, yet.
Keep in mind that maintaining a pH balance is the best practice and to tamper with your water that exceeds outside the normal pH balance range could cause side effects, whether your water has too much acid or is too alkaline. Click here to view the Dr. Oz video.
