BREATHING

Deep Breathing Exercises for the Mind & Body

What seems to be one the most basic functions, proper breathing can sometimes be a major challenge after recovering from surgery or from a severe respiratory condition. In this segment, we jump across the pond for a little advise from our friends from Australia to learn about some breathing basics. You might be surprised how much you've forgotten about how to properly breath in order to maximize oxygen input.

The YouTube search for this was as simple as "breathing".  The BioNAV team was surprised to see such limited content under this subject. There needs to be more videos available from healthcare providers to help recovering patients and athletes understand that the most efficient air exchange usually occurs at the lower base of the lungs that helps speed up recovery time. (Click to view video).
