Works With Your Existing System — The APID methodology is compatible with any computer vision system that captures particle image data from an air filtration system, including laser, ultraviolet, infrared, and sensor-to-sensor imaging technologies. If your system captures a particle image, APID is designed to identify it.

BioNAV LLC offers a non-exclusive, subscription-based global license for its patent-pending Air Particle ID (APID) technology (WO2024249697A2 | PCT/US2024/031776).
 

This application is open to U.S. and international companies, organizations, and government agencies. Qualified licensees, including OEM manufacturers, system integrators, software developers, and government agencies, implement the APID methodology within their own proprietary computer vision systems, edge devices, and air filtration products.
 

Licensees design and build their own implementation using their preferred stack, hardware, and network architecture. BioNAV provides a reference architecture to accelerate development — licensees own their solution and assume full responsibility for their deployment.

  • Your Architecture, Your Rules: Supports any edge, cloud, or hybrid deployment model. No hardware or software requirements. Licensees build on the stack they already own.
     

  • 90-Day Risk-Free Pilot: Refunds honored within 90 days of purchase. Run a proprietary R&D pilot on your own infrastructure using your own CV system — or request access to BioNAV's APID reference architecture to accelerate your build. (License agreement includes a Non-Compete / NDA.)
     

  • License Compliance & Telemetry: All licensed deployments include a BioNAV telemetry connection for license compliance verification and participation in BioNAV's aggregate environmental data network. Telemetry transmits anonymized usage metadata only; no facility images, no proprietary process data.
     

  • IP Protection: The APID license does not grant ownership of the methodology. BioNAV retains all rights to the APID process and collects anonymized telemetry metadata from licensed deployments. Raw facility images remain the property of the licensee. Proprietary output data rights are negotiable under the Master License Agreement.
     

  • Governing Law: Agreement governed by the State of Missouri. Patent enforcement through the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
     

This licensing model is designed to protect BioNAV's innovations while offering manufacturers and developers a clear, low-risk path to commercialize intelligent environmental sensing systems at scale.
